Loose Crown or Bridge
If you have a crown (cap) or bridge that you know is loose, or comes out of the mouth altogether, let your dentist know immediately. The dentist can check and see if it will be possible to recement it. If it is very loose take it out and make sure you bring it with you to the appointment. If it is loose but still on the tooth, chew on the other side and try not to disturb the crown or bridge. If a tooth is without a crown or bridge for a week or longer, sometimes the tooth can drift so that it becomes difficult to recement, so it is best not to wait too long.
